I get that - I get more shit for being bi than being gay. If I post things to FB etc. on behalf of the LGB community, I usually do say something about "We gay", so people who don't know any better will think I'm gay. It doesn't bother me either way. I think being gay is more easy to understand for other people.
I don't find it strange. :) I form closer bonds to women in general (I've only had one partner, who was a girl, and while it didn't really last long enough to call her a "partner", we're still very close friends), but I'm more sexually attracted to men. :) Everyone's in a different place on the scale, I guess! It's never 50:50 with being bisexual, I dare say!
